1/ Information We Access
GoogleDriveExplorer allows you to manage your Google Drive web for a better user experience. We require access to your Google Drive folders and files metadata, such as:
File name, folder name, parent folder or subfolders, create, last view or modify date, size, type of file, etc.
2/ Data Collection and Transfer
All interactions with your Google Drive take place directly between your device and Google's servers. GoogleDriveExplorer acts as a conduit, connecting the Google Drive metadata to you, operating on your device. This is a pass-through process : no data is collected or stored on our servers. All data transfers between Google's servers and your device are protected using secure encryption protocols (SSL/TLS).
3/ Email & Sign-in
GoogleDriveExplorer collects your email login and usage details, including login email, IP address, usage statistics, license date, etc. Specifically, we use your email address to identify your paid status and unlock specific product features. We also use your email as a primary means for product support, bug fixes, and to communicate product & feature updates.
4/ Payment Information
We use third-party payment gateways, Stripe & PayPal, to capture user payments. Financial and payment information when you pay for licenses is managed by these trusted third-party payment processors. GoogleDriveExplorer does not collect or store any financial information from these transactions.
5/ Third-Party Data Collection
GoogleDriveExplorer accesses your Google Drive metadata (as detailed in section 1.0). We do not collect, store, share, or transfer any of this metadata to any external servers or services. We do not read, edit, copy, or delete your files and folders. You are solely responsible for the security and sharing permissions of files and folders within Google Drive.
